Tamiya M1025 Hummer Front Gear Box Joint HM1041SF technical upgrade by GPM  [HM1041SF]

This steel front gearbox joint replaces the original front joint used in the Tamiya M1025 Hummer gearbox and is supplied as a single unit. It is designed as an aftermarket drivetrain component to improve resistance to deformation compared with plastic variants.

Function and fit: intended as a direct replacement for the M1025 Hummer front gearbox joint, the part transmits torque through the front gearbox to the driven wheels in scale RC applications. It is not suitable for use in real vehicles.

Assembly notes: installation requires removal of the existing joint from the front gearbox and refitting of the steel unit. Use standard workshop tools, confirm correct gear mesh, and inspect bearing clearances during reassembly to avoid binding or premature wear.

Operational guidance: the steel joint reduces elastic compliance under load and can provide more consistent torque delivery to the front end, aiding repeatable setup work. After installation, verify rotating clearances and monitor adjacent part wear during initial running.
