Precision aluminium front tower for GF-01

This aluminium front shock tower is an aftermarket upgrade for the Tamiya GF-01 chassis, sold under model GF028. It replaces the standard plastic tower to provide a stiffer top mount area and a more stable platform for the front shocks, helping to minimise unwanted movement at the shock tops.

Designed for hobbyists focused on setup and durability, the tower reduces flex at the upper shock mounts which alters shock geometry under load and promotes consistent front-end behaviour on uneven surfaces and during aggressive cornering. It is particularly useful when refining spring rates, damper settings and camber link geometry on GF-01 based vehicles.

Fitting is carried out with standard GF-01 service steps: remove the original tower, transfer any necessary mounting hardware and shock components, then secure this tower to the factory mounting points. After installation check wheel alignment and shock travel, and fine-tune preload or mount position to achieve the targeted handling characteristics.
