Precision alloy C-hub for DF-02

The DF2019 front C-hub is a precision-engineered aluminium alloy replacement for the Tamiya DF-02 chassis. It replaces the stock plastic hub while retaining Delrin collar interfaces at the knuckle pivot and axle locations to maintain smooth articulation and reduce direct metal-on-metal contact. The alloy body provides a stiffer, more repeatable mounting point for front suspension and steering components without altering the DF-02's nominal geometry.

Installation follows the OEM service routine: remove the front knuckles and steering links, fit the replacement C-hub, and refit the knuckles with existing fasteners. After fitting, verify wheel alignment and check that collars rotate freely in the knuckle to prevent binding and ensure consistent steering response.

As an upgrade component, the alloy C-hub is intended to increase durability and deliver consistent steering behaviour for precision setups. Delrin collars preserve pivot smoothness and limit wear at moving interfaces while retaining compatibility with standard DF-02 steering hardware and mounting patterns.
