This single-piece spring steel tie rod is specified for Tamiya CC-01 chassis configurations and replaces lower stiffness stock links to reduce flex at the servo-to-knuckle connection while preserving some resilience in the steering train.

Installation is direct: remove the original tie rod from the servo horn and steering arm, engage this rod with the existing ball cup or rod end, and verify full thread engagement and unimpeded travel across the steering arc. Address any binding by slight positional adjustments or trimming adjacent components, then inspect for end play after a short test run.

From a setup perspective, spring steel is selected to limit unwanted compliance without over-stiffening the steering assembly. Use this component when tuning steering return and slow-speed control; it is not intended to replace structural steering members or serve beyond conventional linkage roles.
