High-accuracy 19-tooth steel motor pinion manufactured as an aftermarket replacement for the Team Losi SUPER BAJA platform. The component engages the motor output shaft and transmits torque into the transmission, forming the initial stage of the gear train interface.

Produced from hardened steel #45 for improved surface hardness and fatigue resistance under repeated mesh cycles. The source package contains 1 pcs pinion gear and 1 pcs stainless steel screw shaft 5x5 and is listed under manual number LOS252079.

Installation and setup: mount the SSB019T pinion square to the motor shaft, set correct backlash and mesh with the spur gear to minimise pitting and premature wear, and verify free, no-load rotation before operational use. Use the 19-tooth sizing when calibrating final drivetrain ratios to tune torque delivery and top-end speed.
