This aftermarket main shaft assembly is designed specifically for AXIAL SCX10 platforms and uses CNC-friendly 6061 T6 aluminum housings paired with hardened steel #45 adjustable swing shafts and a cross-head universal joint to maintain scale fit while enhancing articulation and reducing rotating inertia.

From an engineering perspective the alloy housing lowers rotating mass relative to full-steel designs, improving dynamic response, while the hardened adjustable shafts supply the torsional capacity needed for aggressive steering inputs and axle articulation. The cross-head universal joint increases achievable steering angle without altering axle or chassis geometry.

Installation aligns with standard SCX10 driveline replacement procedures: remove the original main shafts, install the alloy housings, set the adjustable shaft length, and secure with provided fasteners.
