Precision alloy upper arm for Savage chassis

This precision alloy adjustable upper arm is an aftermarket upgrade intended to replace Savage-series plastic arms with a CNC-friendly aluminium component that provides a firmer mounting platform for steering and suspension linkages.

The assembly uses an aluminium arm profile combined with an integrated steel tie rod area at the steering connection to improve resistance to bending under lateral loads. Adjustable link length allows measured camber and track corrections without modifying shock mount geometry.

Installation mirrors standard Savage arm replacement: remove wheel, detach the factory arm from hub and tower, transfer any bearings or spacers as required, mount the alloy arm with supplied hardware and set tie rod length to achieve correct steering centring. This component targets improved steering consistency and repeatable suspension behaviour for technical off-road use.

Compatible Models

  • HPI Savage
  • Savage X
  • Savage XL
  • Savage Fluorescent x
  • Savage K4.6 Engine

Select this arm for precision steering geometry and reduced linkage flex, and verify hub and tower mounting dimensions prior to final assembly.

The arm is based on machined aluminium geometry with an integrated steel tie rod section for the steering interface; production tolerances target consistent pivot alignment and minimal play.
Reduced arm deflection yields more repeatable camber and toe under load, allowing finer adjustments to damping and spring rates for predictable handling at the limits.
Confirm hole spacings, bearing seat diameters and overall arm length against your hub and shock tower to ensure correct alignment and avoid binding.
