Precision rear CVD for Slash 4x4 drivetrains

Engineered as an aftermarket rear CVD for 1/10 TRAXXAS Slash 4x4, this 1pr set from GPM (SSLA1277RH) combines steel and aluminium components to provide focused upgrade performance with attention to fit and serviceability.

The assembly replaces the stock rear shaft, using a modified CVD head and a 12mmx6mm wheel hex for secure wheel mounting. Length adjustability allows fine tuning of driveline geometry where Slash 4x4 variants permit a direct swap.

Installation for the precision-minded builder involves replacing the rear shafts, verifying spline and hex compatibility, and checking clearance with suspension travel and gearbox components prior to testing.

On my 3rd order with gpm now, service is great no problem. Item are 100% love the colour range, I’m kitting up a e revo 2.0 and a widemaxx 2v. All I can say is wow to the e revo 2.0 when finished. Gpm would like to see more colours if possible purple an
Confirm spline count and orientation, fit the CVD head to the outdrive by hand to check engagement depth, then secure and verify free movement through suspension travel.
Measure with the chassis at neutral ride height and suspension cycled; set shaft length to avoid binding at full bump and droop while maintaining correct wheel offset.
Inspect after aggressive runs, clean joint surfaces of grit, and apply light lubricant to moving junctions; check for corrosion at steel/aluminium interfaces and address promptly.
Standard RF hex drivers and small pliers are typically sufficient; use correct torque on retention screws and avoid over-tightening the CVD head during length adjustment.
