High-precision rear oil shock for TRAXXAS 4X4 rear mounts

This oil-filled rear shock assembly is a direct-fit upgrade for select TRAXXAS 4X4 rear applications, engineered for reduced internal friction and improved impact absorption to stabilise the rear end. The shock body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium with a sealed cap to retain oil and protect internal components during normal RC operation. Threaded shock bodies and precision adjustable collars allow fine ride-height and spring preload tuning, and a locking spring perch secures spring position under dynamic loads.

Two spring options are supplied: a gold spring pre-installed with a 1.4mm wire diameter for the delivered damping characteristic, plus spare black springs with a 1.5mm wire diameter for a firmer response. Bleeder screws are incorporated to streamline oil service and maintenance. All packaging accessories are provided pre-assembled; use screw thread locker on external fasteners as recommended to ensure secure installation.

Installation targets rear shock mounts only; verify rear-only compatibility prior to fitting and adjust the top spring retainer to refine preload and effective spring rate to suit driving surface and style.
