Technical Spare Wheel Support and Locking Design

For 1/10-scale trail crawler applications, this spare wheel support provides a secure locking mount for a variety of spare wheel diameters. It is designed to hold spares at the designated vehicle area without altering drivetrain or suspension components and should be used only on the chassis specified in the compatibility list.

The main bracket is a lightweight, high-tensile 6061 T6 aluminium assembly presented in a compact 3D profile to suit scale vehicles. The kit includes a separate locking element for the spare and stainless steel round head screws sized for RC mounting, facilitating a clean installation and reliable retention.

Installation procedure is simple: position the support in the spare wheel area, secure the bracket and locking component with the supplied screws, and verify clearance for the chosen wheel diameter. This allows model builders to evaluate different tyre sizes for handling and scale appearance without committing to permanent chassis alterations.
