This machined aluminium rear shock tower is engineered to match the TRAXXAS 1/18 LaTrax SST rear shock mounting layout and provide a rigid mounting surface for the rear dampers. It is supplied as an aftermarket replacement to improve the stability of the suspension attachment points.

The aluminium backing plate reduces movement at the shock mount locations compared with conventional plastic towers, helping the shocks retain consistent alignment through their travel. That stability supports more precise tuning and easier comparison of setup changes.
