The LB331A stabilizer is a CNC-friendly aluminium front lower arm reinforcement engineered for Tamiya CW-01 (Lunch Box) rigs. It replaces the OEM plastic brace to provide a stiffer mounting datum for the lower arms and bumper interface, improving chassis torsional response under corner loads and minor impacts.
Manufactured from 6061 T6 with a 3D hollow-cut section, the stabilizer balances stiffness and reduced mass while maintaining original mounting geometry. The 9-piece kit installs on both sides using the original attachment points, avoiding the need for chassis modification on standard CW-01 configurations.
Factory-supplied fasteners: stainless steel round head screw 3x10 - 3pcs, stainless steel round head screw 3x8 - 3pcs, stainless steel cap head screw 3x8 - 2pcs. Ensure correct thread engagement and torque sequence when fitting to prevent loading the threads unevenly.
From a tuning perspective, the part limits front-end compliance and will usually sharpen initial turn-in; combine the stabilizer with progressive spring and damping adjustments to reach the desired dynamic balance for driving conditions.
A precision aluminium upgrade that integrates with factory mounts and includes stainless hardware for improved front-end rigidity without extensive fitting work.
