Precision alloy clutch shoe for Savage clutches

This alloy clutch shoe is a replacement designed to fit the clutch geometry used on HPI Savage and Savage X platforms. It mounts in the standard shoe location and replaces worn or damaged shoes on 1/8 scale nitro models.

Fitting requires basic removal of the clutch, inspection of the clutch bell and springs, and correct seating of the shoe on its pivot. Verify alignment before final reassembly, ensure free pivoting of the shoe, and avoid excessive torque on retainers to prevent binding.

From a tuning perspective, alloy shoes alter engagement feel and heat transfer versus composite variants. Evaluate spring rates and perform controlled test sequences while monitoring for uneven wear and temperature changes between runs.
