Engineered pendulum masses for controlled traction

The 12-piece pendulum wheel weight kit is engineered for TRAXXAS TRX4 knuckles and uses a brass main body with alloy lid plus stainless rolling beads to deliver a low centre of gravity mass that biases downward near the tyre contact patch. The pendulum arrangement increases wheel load for improved low-speed traction without modifying knuckle geometry or internal axle components.

Mounting is external to the knuckle case on both front and rear axles, preserving internal axle clearances. Mass is adjustable in precise increments by adding or removing stainless beads; each bead is approximately 4g and up to eight beads can be fitted per unit to refine per-wheel mass. A 23mm hex adapter is included to accommodate broader hub configurations.

Components are specified for durability in trail conditions, using brass, alloy and stainless hardware to limit corrosion. The pendulum delivers a repeatable downward bias during rotation so tuning affects traction characteristics rather than steering kinematics.
