Precision BBS alloy wheels for Mini-Z AWD

These BBS-style aluminium rims are a precision upgrade for the KYOSHO Mini-Z AWD platform, designated MZA009F/R/+2.5. Supplied as a front and rear pair for MR-03 AWD variants, the rims feature a 2.5mm offset and an 8.5mm rim width with a 10-piece construction designed to keep a low profile for tighter wheel-to-body clearance.

Manufactured from machined aluminium to reduce distortion during tyre mounting, the rims maintain consistent track geometry and improve repeatability under load. The 2.5mm offset shifts the tyre position outboard relative to some stock wheels, enabling fine stance adjustments without altering suspension linkages.

Installation uses standard Mini-Z wheel removal procedures: remove the existing wheel hex, transfer tyre and foam or fit a compatible Mini-Z tyre, then secure with original hex hardware. No specialised tools are required, though validate thread engagement and perform static balance to eliminate high-speed vibration.

Intended as a tuning component, these rims adjust stance and track width while preserving AWD driveline alignment on MR-03 AWD cars. They are suited to on-road setups where a lower profile and increased rim width help optimise tyre contact and lateral support for predictable cornering characteristics.

Expect a slight outward shift of the tyre due to the 2.5mm offset; measure wheel-to-arch clearance on your MR-03 AWD to confirm no rubbing occurs at full lock.
Wheels should be statically balanced after tyre mounting to prevent vibration; aluminium construction reduces deformation but does not eliminate the need for balance checks.
Transfer existing Mini-Z tyres and foam inserts where possible or fit compatible low-profile Mini-Z tyres; ensure secure hex engagement and inspect for even bead seating before final run-in.
