Technical overview for Mini-Z AWD sinkage rims

These front and rear alloy sinkage rims are a compact, scale-accurate upgrade tailored to Mini-Z AWD platforms. Manufactured from machined aluminium and supplied as matched components, the rims retain the stock geometry with a 0mm offset and an 8.5mm rim width in a 6-piece set.

From a setup perspective, sinkage rims influence tyre tuck and bead seating, producing a consistent change in tyre flotation and turn-in characteristics at Mini-Z scale. Use them to maintain uniform rim stiffness across front and rear when conducting controlled tuning comparisons.

Installation is straightforward on Mini-Z AWD hubs: the rims replace factory wheels and accept the existing wheel hardware. Verify wheel hex dimensions and tyre thickness prior to assembly, and inspect tyre seating after initial running to confirm balanced bead contact and reliable performance.

Intended for competitive club and track tuning where precise, incremental wheel-width and offset changes are required; these parts are for RC-scale applications only.

Measure your wheel hex, hub clearance and tyre internal width to confirm compatibility with the 8.5mm rim and the 0mm offset prior to final assembly.
Matched aluminium rims provide consistent stiffness and mass distribution, reducing variability in tyre seating and aiding repeatable handling comparisons when other variables are controlled.
After fitting, confirm tyre bead contact, check for lateral runout, and perform a short on-track test to validate turn-in and mid-corner behaviour before proceeding with tuning changes.
