The MZJ338 is a 38mm damper produced from 6061-T6 aluminium for KYOSHO 1/18 MINI-Z 4X4 scale platforms. It is suitable for front or rear installation on MINI-Z 4X4 Suzuki Jimny variants to manage suspension movement and improve dynamic balance during driving.

Preload is adjusted via the top spring retainer to finely alter spring compression and overall response. The set includes a silver spring matching the original MINI-Z wire diameter and an additional black spring for alternate rates or replacement. These adjustments change effective spring characteristics without modifying suspension geometry.

Installation follows standard MINI-Z procedures: remove the original damper, install the ball ends and attachment hardware at the factory mounting points, and set preload with the top retainer. This unit is an aftermarket tuning component intended for hobby-scale use.
