Aftermarket aluminium rear damper tower

This precision machined aluminium alloy rear damper tower is an aftermarket replacement for the Kyosho Mini Inferno series, including Mini Inferno 09 chassis. The tower uses the original shock pickup positions to maintain geometry while providing a stiffer mounting point than the stock plastic component.

Installation follows the factory procedure: remove the original rear damper mount and fit the alloy tower, securing it with the included screws as a single-piece set. The added stiffness at the shock pivot reduces mount deformation under load, which improves the clarity of suspension feedback when adjusting springs and damping.

As a targeted upgrade the part complements conventional setup steps such as spring swaps, damper oil changes and shock position adjustments by reducing mount-related variables, allowing more precise tuning assessment during testing.
