Replacement motor pinion for micro RC drivetrains

The MG218T/0.5M motor pinion is an RC replacement manufactured from 40Cr steel with a hardened black finish to enhance wear resistance and gear consistency. It features 18 teeth at a 0.5mm module and a motor tooth diameter of 2.2mm to suit common small motor setups.

The pinion mounts on a round motor bore and is secured using two 3x3 set screws. Prior to installation check the motor shaft diameter, module and tooth count to ensure a correct match for safe operation.

Used for like-for-like swaps or when upgrading to a tougher gear material, this hardened-steel pinion provides improved longevity under standard driving and tuning conditions. Install with basic tools and tighten the set screws evenly to maintain alignment.
