Precision aluminium battery mount for MF01X chassis

This aluminium battery holder is engineered to fit the Tamiya MF01X chassis with a 138mm mounting length that conforms to the MF01X battery envelope. It provides a solid mounting datum for the pack to improve repeatable positioning during setup and tuning operations.

Made from aluminium for structural stability, the holder replaces standard plastic trays where reduced movement and consistent pack placement are required. The part supports incremental adjustments to battery placement used to alter weight distribution and centre of gravity for on-track tuning work.

Installation requires the removal of the factory tray and refitting the holder into the same mounting footprint. No dedicated tools are supplied; use suitable hex drivers and fasteners matching your MF01X hardware. This is an RC component and is not intended for full-size vehicle use.

Use this holder to secure 138mm footprint batteries on MF01X models where a firmer, repeatable mounting point is required; it is supplied as an aftermarket upgrade by GPM.

The holder is intended for batteries with a 138mm footprint and aligns with common MF01X pack dimensions; verify pack width and connector clearance before final fitment.
No chassis modification is typically needed; the holder installs into the original battery area using the existing mounting points on the MF01X.
By locating the battery on a stiffer, consistent datum, the holder reduces pack shift between runs and makes weight distribution adjustments more repeatable.
Periodically check fastener torque and inspect for any wear or deformation; ensure wiring remains clear of the holder and that padding or velcro is in good condition if used.
