Technical spur for MINI-T 2.0 centre gearbox

This 60T spur is supplied as a replacement spur gear compatible with the LOSI MINI-T 2.0 2WD platform. It performs the central role of transmitting torque from the pinion to the rest of the drivetrain within the centre gearbox assembly.

Manufactured in hardened steel #45, the component is produced to maintain accurate tooth profile and pitch, reducing wear and improving long-term mesh stability under repetitive load cycles. The material selection and machining tolerances are aimed at consistent performance for hobbyists seeking a more robust drivetrain element.

Install by aligning the spur and pinion to the recommended mesh specification, then rotate the gearbox by hand to confirm smooth engagement. This part is suitable as a drop-in spare or as an upgrade to enhance drivetrain durability during maintenance or tuning.

I am very satisfied with their library of parts, I have at least one GPM piece in every RC car I own, wish they could include logo stickers so I can put them on my RC car bodies though. Only thing thats a bother is the shipping times but its not a big dea
Verify axial runout and ensure spur-tooth engagement is even across the width; minimal lateral play and uniform contact pattern indicate correct installation.
Regrinding hardened steel requires specialist tools; shimming the pinion is preferred for mesh adjustment. Avoid modifying the spur unless you have appropriate machining capability.
Inspect the gear every few runs during initial break-in and then as part of routine maintenance; check for pitting, tooth wear, and secure fastening.
