Precision diff housing engineered for LOSI LMT

This replacement differential housing is engineered for LOSI LMT solid axle monster truck configurations and is intended to locate and protect the internal bevel gears in the front, centre and rear assemblies. The outer shell is medium carbon steel for improved strength and wear resistance, while the central segment is 7075 aluminium to reduce rotating mass where the unit interfaces with the axle assembly. A rubber sealing ring is supplied to enhance oil and dirt sealing around the case.

From a setup and tuning perspective the housing maintains correct gear mesh, improves alignment stability under torque, and provides a firmer mounting surface than stock plastic housings. The increased structural stiffness supports consistent gear behaviour during high-load runs and reduces movement that can lead to premature gear wear.

Assembly notes for technicians: the kit includes all required Grade 12.9 fasteners and aluminium shims to install the housing and refit internal gears. After assembly verify gear lash and bearing endplay, and use the supplied aluminium shims to adjust mesh and preload to specification.
