Front CVD drive shaft for LOSI LMT - technical overview

Aftermarket front CVD drive shaft engineered for the LOSI LMT 4WD solid axle monster truck platform. Manufactured from 4140 carbon steel and precision machined to interface with standard steel hex adapters, this shaft delivers drivetrain rotation to the front hubs while under load. It is intended for installation on the specified LOSI chassis only.

Service and fitment focus on the front CVD assembly where the shaft groove accepts the supplied 17*8 and 12*8 hex adapters. The kit includes both sizes of hex adapters and matching set screws; a single 17*8 adapter is supplied pre-installed on the shaft. Technically, routine inspection of set screw torque and mating surfaces is recommended after initial running and following heavy impacts to preserve retention and alignment.

Use this component to replace worn front CVD hardware or to reinstate front drive after impact damage. Its role is strictly mechanical torque transmission to the front wheels and it does not affect electronics, suspension geometry, or chassis structural layout.
