ESC tray compatible with LOSI 5IVE-TE 3.0

The 5T3/051 ESC tray and mount plate is CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium to provide consistent tolerances and a sturdy mounting surface for RC electronic speed controllers. It is designed to secure the ESC on 1/5 scale desert truck chassis while allowing room for cooling and tidy wiring routes.

The plate supports the stock ESC footprint and is listed as compatible with MAX4, MAX5 and Castle Cobra HV. A bottom bracket is required for central chassis mounts to achieve proper alignment; rear-mounted installations can fasten directly to the plate without the bracket. Select the mounting position that suits your chassis design.

Hardware is pre-assembled to ease installation; using a medium-strength threadlocker on metal fasteners is recommended to minimise loosening from vibration. This product is intended for RC model use only and is not suitable for full-size vehicles.

Compatible Models

  • LOSI 1/5 5IVE-TE 3.0 Electric 4WD Desert Truck RTR-LOS05022

This tray helps standardise ESC placement on LOSI 5IVE-TE 3.0 builds, improving mounting repeatability and making wiring and cooling planning easier when tuning and servicing your model.

The tray matches the stock ESC pattern and is noted as compatible with MAX4, MAX5 and Castle Cobra HV. Always check your ESC mounting holes against the plate before final installation.
Use the bottom bracket when installing the ESC in the centre of the chassis to ensure correct height and alignment. If the ESC is mounted to the rear, the bracket can usually be omitted and the ESC bolted directly to the plate.
7075 aluminium is chosen for its high strength and wear resistance versus softer alloys, maintaining mounting integrity under vibration and impact common in off-road RC use.
Although the hardware is pre-assembled, apply a medium-strength threadlocker on metal-to-metal fasteners and recheck mount points after the first runs to ensure nothing has loosened.
