Technical overview of the alloy rear arm

This aluminium alloy rear gear box arm is an aftermarket replacement intended specifically for KYOSHO Mini-Z Overland chassis that retain the original motor mount. It is supplied as 1pcs and aims to improve rear gearbox support while preserving the stock motor mount and routing.

The component uses an aluminium alloy construction to provide increased resistance to wear compared with common plastic arms, while keeping mass appropriate for Mini-Z dynamic behaviour. Fitment requires the vehicle to retain the original motor mount and gearbox layout.

Installation procedure: remove the OEM rear arm, retain and transfer any bearings or locating pins as required, then secure the alloy arm to the gearbox and motor mount using the existing hardware and correct hex driver sizes. After installation verify gear mesh and suspension geometry to prevent binding and premature drivetrain wear.

Notes for setup: changing to the alloy rear arm will influence chassis stiffness and impact feedback under load, so reassess rear toe and ride height after fitting. The part is intended as a durable replacement for scale trail and light off-road Mini-Z applications rather than as a high level performance conversion.
