The MOL1032 aluminium main gear mount is designed as an aftermarket replacement to provide a rigid locating point for the main gear on Mini-Z Overland chassis. Its purpose is to reduce support flex and deliver a stable reference for drivetrain alignment and mesh adjustments.

Supplied as 1 pcs, the component installs into the original mounting position and requires standard alignment checks during assembly. Fitment includes removing the stock mount, installing this alloy unit, and verifying gear mesh and shaft alignment while setting backlash to the required specification.

From a tuning perspective, a stiffer mount reduces variable movement under load, improving repeatability of gear engagement and making fine adjustments to gear height and backlash more reliable. This item is intended for chassis-level drivetrain refinement and does not modify gear ratios or motor performance.
