Technical overview of the graphite front arm plate

This CNC-friendly aftermarket front arm plate is produced to mate with Kyosho Mini Inferno ST, Mini Inferno and Mini Inferno 09 chassis and to reinforce the rear gear box mounting area. The component is supplied in blue graphite finish and is intended as a direct replacement where chassis geometry and rear gear box clearance conform to the listed Mini Inferno variants.

Engineering intent: the plate provides a rigid interface between front arm mounting points and the rear gear box section to maintain suspension geometry under load, reducing flex compared with some stock plastic parts. This rigid interface is advantageous when altering roll centre or fitting heavier aftermarket assemblies that demand precise alignment.

Installation procedure: prepare a set of RC hand tools, remove the OEM front arm plate and associated fasteners, validate hole alignment with the rear gear box mounts, then secure the graphite plate with the original screws or equivalent hex fasteners torqued to appropriate small-screw values. Post-fit checks should include suspension travel verification and driveline clearance inspection. The package contains 1 pcs of the plate in blue graphite.

Compatibility and service notes: confirm variant-specific fit prior to final assembly, inspect and deburr mating faces as necessary, and apply a low-strength threadlocker on metal fasteners when a semi-permanent installation is required. This part is intended exclusively for RC chassis applications.

Measure the mounting hole pattern and clearance envelope on your chassis and compare to the plate; check that the rear gear box mounts align and that suspension travel will remain unobstructed.
Use OEM screws if serviceable, or equivalent grade hex fasteners. Apply even torque appropriate for small RC screws to avoid thread damage; if a permanent fit is required use a low-strength threadlocker.
Periodically inspect mounting faces for wear or burrs, confirm fastener torque, and verify that added components do not introduce driveline or suspension interference.
