Technical front damper tower overview

This graphite front damper tower is engineered for Kyosho Mini Inferno and Mini Inferno 09 chassis, supplied as a 1pc set with mounting screws for direct replacement of the factory front tower. The component provides an alternate mounting plate for front suspension and is offered in several colour options from the manufacturer, sold as a single unit including required fasteners.

Designed to support front suspension tuning, the graphite material provides a stiffer mounting platform while keeping mass low, suitable for small-scale touring and aggressive hobby use. The tower accepts the standard shock and suspension link mounting locations used on the Mini Inferno platform, enabling retention of existing shock hardware.

Assembly notes: remove the OEM tower and transfer existing shock mounts and fasteners where necessary, align the new tower to the chassis mounting holes and secure with the supplied screws. During installation confirm screw fit and thread engagement, and verify shock piston and rod alignment prior to final torque. This part is intended for RC-scale vehicles only.

Inspect full suspension travel for interference with the tower, ensure shock shafts are centred in the pistons and confirm there is no rubbing between links and the chassis before finalising hardware torque.
A firmer graphite mounting point can reduce chassis flex at the front end, producing a more direct steering feel and more consistent shock geometry; small setup adjustments may be required to dial in handling balance.
Hand-start supplied screws, confirm alignment of mounting holes, tighten progressively and recheck after a brief run. Replace any damaged hardware and ensure threads are clean to avoid cross-threading.
