Precision hardened differential internals

This seven-piece hardened steel gear set is manufactured for the Kyosho Mini Inferno ST and Mini Inferno platforms to replace the internal front and rear differential gears found on 1/10 scale nitro and electric buggies. Components are CNC-finished heat treated steel that keep original tooth geometry while providing greater surface hardness and wear resistance versus softer stock alloys.

Designed as a direct internal swap, the kit affects gear mesh and backlash and delivers improved lifecycle under typical RC loads. During installation check bearing fits, set optimal mesh and use a light lubricant on mating faces to avoid additive drag. This upgrade is intended for installation inside the differential housings listed for the Mini Inferno models.

Engineered for precision and extended wear life while preserving original fitment and geometry.

Seven hardened steel internal differential gears intended to replace the front and rear differential internals specified for the Mini Inferno ST and Mini Inferno models.
Set correct mesh and verify bearing tolerances. Excessive backlash or tight mesh shortens life even with hardened gears, so measure and adjust before final assembly.
A light synthetic gear grease applied sparingly to tooth faces is ideal. Periodic inspection for wear and bearing play will maximise service intervals.
While hardened gears resist wear, improper mesh or worn bearings can transfer stress elsewhere. Ensure supporting components are in good condition to avoid secondary failures.
