Technical alloy servo mount for Mini Inferno

This CNC-friendly alloy servo mount cover is made for the Kyosho Mini Inferno chassis and is supplied as model MIF026 by GPM. It replaces the stock plastic cover to secure a standard-size servo while minimising deformation at the mounting interface under load.

The part is machined from alloy to deliver improved stiffness and dimensional stability versus the original plastic component. Supplied as a 1pc set with mounting screws, the cover locates on the existing factory screw positions for straightforward installation.

Installation follows common workshop practice: remove the OEM cover, position the servo and horn alignment precisely, fit the alloy cover and tighten the supplied fasteners. After fitting, inspect horn clearance and link geometry to confirm correct travel and steering throw.

From an engineering perspective, the alloy cover reduces compliance at the servo mounting point, preserving steering input fidelity and aiding consistent on-track setup. This is a mechanical chassis upgrade only and does not modify servo electrical circuits or internal gearing characteristics.

MIF026 uses the factory servo mount screw locations on the Kyosho Mini Inferno chassis; no new holes are required if your chassis matches the standard layout.
Ensure servo height, horn clearance and link geometry are within acceptable tolerances before final torqueing of the screws to avoid binding or restricted travel.
No. MIF026 increases mechanical stiffness at the mount but does not alter drivetrain components or the servo's electrical and gear internals.
