Technical overview - micro middle-profile tyre

Engineered as a matched pair for Hyper 7, MP7.5, MP9 and RC8 on-road platforms, this micro middle-profile rubber tyre concentrates the contact patch and modifies sidewall compliance to provide predictable rebound and tuning feedback. The internal insert stabilises carcass response and helps control transient behaviour without altering wheel geometry.

Mounting procedure follows standard on-road practice: position the insert inside the tyre prior to seating on the rim, ensure symmetric bead seating and remove excess adhesive from tread surfaces. Perform static balancing and minimal trimming where necessary to remove runout, and allow adhesives to cure fully before dynamic testing.

From a setup perspective the middle-profile changes mid-corner grip characteristics and steering response. Make incremental changes to damping and toe, using short test runs to quantify the tyre's effect on load transfer and chassis balance.
