Precision alloy differential lock for Savage chassis

This alloy differential lock is engineered for HPI Savage platforms, including Savage, Savage X and Savage K4.6. It replaces standard differential internals to produce a firmer engagement profile that assists in predictable traction management and controlled torque transfer in tuned off-road drivetrains.

Installation is performed using the factory differential housing and original mounting points. Ensure correct spur and pinion mesh and check for any clearance issues before final torqueing. Rotate the assembly through full suspension travel to confirm consistent engagement and freedom from binding.

From a tuning standpoint the component reduces uncontrolled differential slip during acceleration and deceleration, which improves throttle modulation and weight transfer predictability. Use in conjunction with considered gear ratios and suspension damping adjustments to refine vehicle balance.

Perform periodic inspections of engagement surfaces and bearing interfaces after demanding sessions. Remove contaminants, inspect wear patterns and reapply appropriate differential lubrication to sustain consistent behaviour and service life.
