This 20T hardened steel drive gear is supplied as a single pair and is intended as an aftermarket replacement for worn SCX10 factory gears. The hardened material is selected to reduce surface fatigue and extend service life under slow-speed, high-torque conditions.

The gear transmits pinion torque into the axle and spur assembly and is a fundamental driveline component. For scale crawlers and trail rigs, upgrading to a hardened steel drive gear improves resistance to wear and deformation compared with softer stock gears.
