This single-piece rear main drive shaft is engineered for the Axial Racing Yeti platform and supplied as YT237A. The component uses a machined aluminium shaft body to reduce rotating inertia while integrating a hardened steel joint at the torque concentration point for improved wear resistance.

The reduced rotating mass improves drivetrain transient response, and the hardened joint preserves spline integrity under repetitive loads. The assembly includes stainless steel fastening hardware to secure the shaft within standard gearbox and hub interfaces.

Fitting procedure: remove original driveshaft retaining screws, slide the YT237A shaft into the gearbox and hub assemblies ensuring correct spline alignment, and torque the supplied 2.5M screws to the torque values suitable for your Yeti configuration. Verify universal joint movement and recheck torque after initial break-in to ensure long term reliability.
