Wraith 12mm Alloy Hex Adaptors

These 12mm alloy hex adaptors are supplied as a matched set of four and are intended for Axial Wraith-style wheel hubs. The parts replace common plastic hexes with an aluminium alloy interface where firmer seating and enhanced wear resistance are required for hobby-level trail and rock use.

Fitting is carried out by removing the original hex, positioning the alloy adaptor onto the hub hex, and refitting the wheel while confirming correct engagement and thread alignment. Check that each adaptor seats fully and that wheel fasteners are tightened evenly to avoid misthreading.

As a practical upgrade these adaptors move the wheel-to-hub contact to aluminium alloy, delivering more repeatable wheel positioning and improved resistance to wear compared with many stock plastic hexes, which helps retain wheel alignment over extended running sessions.
