Technical front steering ball end upgrade

The GPM SCX6161/BE ball end kit replaces the original plastic ball ends on Axial SCX6 front steering links with anodised 6061 T6 aluminium components intended for durable, repeatable steering performance. The matched clockwise and anticlockwise threads permit in-place tie rod length adjustment without disassembly.

The kit includes two ball ends for the front steering tie rod and two for the steering servo rod, supplied as direct-fit replacements for the stock locations. Each end features a positioning hole to accept a small tool for micro-adjustments, enabling accurate toe and centring corrections while preserving rod geometry.

Engineering notes: the aluminium construction improves wear and impact resistance relative to plastic while maintaining low mass for consistent handling. The dual-thread layout streamlines steering throw trimming and bump steer correction on large 1/6 scale crawler platforms.
