The component is intended to enhance steering stiffness and reduce the likelihood of thread damage during normal operation.

Installation follows standard GF01 procedures: remove the original linkage, fit the steel tie rods to the steering knuckles and servo output, and secure with compatible hardware. Perform final alignment while the model is on its wheels with steering centred to ensure no binding before final tightening.
