Engineered for GF-01 chassis steering systems, model GF024STM features a machined aluminium saver body paired with a hardened steel tie rod to reduce compliance in the linkage while retaining a predictable slip threshold. The design focuses on repeatable engagement and longevity under hobbyist track and off-road usage.
Functionally the saver isolates the servo output from impact loads, transferring excessive force through a controlled slip interface while maintaining accurate neutral centring. The 24T spline interface ensures positive engagement with servos using 24-tooth output splines commonly found on GF-01 compatible units.
Installation and service notes: press the saver onto the servo spline with correct orientation, secure the tie rod to the steering arm with correct geometry, confirm travel and endpoint settings at the transmitter, then fine-tune saver preload for a balance of protection and steering fidelity. Periodic inspection of fasteners and the tie rod for wear or loosening will preserve handling consistency.
