Front adjustable 70mm alloy shock

This front shock assembly is an RC-scale upgrade designed for the TAMIYA DT-04 RC FIGHTER NXGEN platform. The bodies are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, filled with 500cSt silicon oil and finished with a sealed cap to limit leakage. The shock shaft is increased to 3.5mm diameter and the shock pin is hardened for greater wear resistance under repeated loads.

Key service and tuning roles: the unit reduces internal friction, helps absorb dynamic loads on the front suspension, and provides a taller, adjustable damper for fine-tuning ride height and spring rate. The black spring matches original fitment, while an included silver spring (1.1mm wire) offers a slightly stiffer alternative to change response without modifying the shock body.

Installation notes: these are front-position shocks with a 70mm centre distance and use the same mounting interfaces as the DT-04 front shock area. Basic installation uses the supplied hardware and replaces the stock front dampers; check existing shock eyelet spacing before final fitment and verify secure torque on the included grade 12.9 screws.
