The extra-size profile matches the larger hub face on Yeti XL models and provides a robust locking interface that reduces nut rotation under vibration and hard acceleration while preserving original hub geometry.

Installation procedure for experienced technicians: remove the wheel, position the washer over the wheel hex flush to the wheel face, then torque the wheel nut to the manufacturer's specified value.
