Precision 13T Steel Motor Pinion for Wraith

The WR9013TS is a precision hardened 13-tooth steel motor pinion supplied as one piece and intended for Axial Wraith platforms. It is produced to provide consistent tooth form and reliable replacement fit for motor-to-spur gearing adjustments.

Application note: use this pinion to replace a fatigued 13T gear or to lower gearing for improved low-speed torque. The part is compatible with common spur gear choices and does not require drivetrain modifications beyond standard mesh adjustment.

Installation guidance: verify the pinion seats square on the motor shaft and that the grub screw secures into the shaft material. Set mesh to a minimal, even clearance to ensure uniform tooth contact and reduce accelerated wear. After initial installation run at low throttle and recheck mesh and torque on fasteners.

Service and tuning: changing tooth count by one or two teeth affects final drive ratio and vehicle behaviour; select the appropriate count for motor rpm and terrain. Periodically inspect the pinion for pitting, burrs or deformation and replace if any damage is present to maintain drivetrain integrity.
