This precision adapter set links wheel hubs to axles on AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10 platforms. Machined from 6061 T6 aluminium, the components provide a rigid metal interface intended for heavy-duty crawling and technical trail work where reduced hex deformation is required.

Adapters mount over the axle and index the wheel using the included steel pins and stainless cap head screws. The kit supplies a flat front hex and a raised rear hex to accommodate common hub clearances found on SCX10 II-style axles. These parts are suitable for replacing stripped plastic hexes or upgrading to a more durable wheel mounting solution.

Service and installation: remove the wheel and existing hex, slide the aluminium hex into position on the axle, align the retention bore and locate the supplied steel pin and cap head screw. Expect a tight fit; confirm wheel runout and bearing alignment after installation. No ESC or motor modifications are necessary.

Engineering note: using aluminium adapters reduces localised compliance at the hub which can alter wheel feedback during low-speed crawling and affect centring under load. For predictable handling use matched wheel offsets and suspension setup to suit the vehicle weight and tyre choice.
