Precision alloy shock tower for EXO systems

This one-piece machined alloy front shock tower is supplied as an aftermarket replacement for Axial EXO chassis layouts and is identified as model EX028. It provides the upper shock mounting points and interfaces with the front suspension geometry to keep shock orientation controlled under dynamic loads.

The CNC-friendly alloy construction yields a stiffer top mount compared with injection moulded plastic towers, reducing deflection at the shock upper mounting locations and helping to preserve alignment during high load events. It is intended for scale RC applications and supersedes the stock front tower on EXO-compatible assemblies.

Fitment notes: use existing chassis tower mounting points and original hardware where appropriate, conduct a trial fit to confirm hole alignment and shock cap clearance, and verify secure thread engagement after final assembly. From a setup perspective the tower offers a stable anchor for consistent shock angle when adjusting piston, spring rate, or mounting position for precise tuning outcomes.

The tower is produced from machined alloy to provide a high stiffness upper mount compared with standard plastic components.
Check alignment on a dry fit, confirm shock cap clearance, and use correct torque on fasteners to prevent thread creep and ensure repeatable geometry.
By reducing upper mount flex the tower keeps shock angles stable, which improves predictability when fine tuning spring rate, damping, or mounting position.
