Precision Centre Gearbox Protector

This stainless steel centre gear box bottom protector is engineered for the AXIAL CAPRA 1.9 UNLIMITED chassis and is supplied as 1 pcs. It provides a low-profile skid surface beneath the central gearbox to limit entry of sand and small stones and to reduce impact damage during trail and scale rock use.

Construction: fabricated from stainless steel for corrosion resistance where dirt and moisture are present, suitable for frequent outdoor runs. The component incorporates positioning holes aligned to the upper main shaft fasteners so the main shaft can be removed or refitted without removing the protector, preserving serviceability and reducing disassembly time.

Installation notes: align the protector with the gearbox mounting points and secure with the original mounting screws where applicable. Verify clearance to adjacent drivetrain components before initial operation. The protector is an aftermarket chassis safeguard and does not alter internal gearbox geometry.

Tuning role: provides targeted abrasion and impact protection to the centre gearbox area while maintaining access for servicing. Inspect fasteners and ground clearance following heavy trail sessions to retain reliable operation.
