This damper kit is engineered for the AXIAL AX24 XC-1 and constructed from Aluminum 6061-T6 in a 49mm length to suit standard AX24 shock mounts. The design reduces internal friction and provides impact absorption for low-speed rock crawling to maintain vehicle stability on technical lines.

Fine tuning is achieved through the adjustable top spring retainer which alters spring preload and effective stiffness without disassembling the shock body. The assembly ships with the fitted black springs retaining the original wire diameter plus four 0.35mm silver replacement springs for incremental rate changes.

Supplied parts include the cap head mounting screws and the set of replacement springs required to switch spring rates. These dampers can be mounted in either front or rear locations on the AX24 XC-1 chassis; check shock eye spacing and mount alignment prior to final installation.

Use the 49mm aluminium dampers to optimise axle articulation and spring characteristics on a 1/24 AX24 XC-1 crawler, adjusting the top retainer and swapping the supplied springs for precise tuning.
