Aluminium hex adapters for wheelbase tuning

These aluminium hex adapters are an RC-scale accessory engineered to alter wheel track and clearance on compatible 1/8-1/10 scale platforms. The adapters raise the hex centreline to a total height of 18.5mm measured from bottom to top of the hex, which increases the distance between the wheel mounting face and axle reference compared with several stock configurations.

Design notes taken from the supplier show three tightening holes and an extended overall length to suit universal axle and pin dimensions, letting builders widen the wheelbase while keeping the wheel retention secure. The part is intended for tuning and fitment adjustments on models that match the hole pattern or can accept the supplied screw sizes.

Measured fit differences provided by the source are: relative to Thunder Tiger K-Rock G5 the adapter is 6.5mm wider than the original 12mm hex height, relative to Team Magic E6III it is 3.5mm wider than the original 15mm, and relative to ARRMA NERO / FAZON it is 13mm wider than the original 5.5mm.
