Centre Differential Upgrade for ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S

This GPM MAKM63S complete center differential is an RC-scale replacement unit designed for ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S 1/16 models. The assembly combines 20CrMnTi steel differential gears with a 7075 alloy housing to deliver a robust, pre-assembled center diff intended to reduce internal slop and support more consistent torque transfer through the drivetrain.

Internally the unit uses thicker gear geometry and tighter meshing to minimise power loss from the motor to the wheels, helping the motor's output reach the gearbox more efficiently under load. The gear set maintains the original 63T count and 0.5 module, so it matches the stock tooth profile and mesh pattern.

The center differential is supplied fully assembled and does not include differential oil, so users must fill their preferred diff fluid during installation. GPM recommends using 50K CST silicone oil for the front differential, 30K CST for the rear differential, and 500K or 1000K CST for the center differential depending on desired lock-up and handling. Medium-strength thread locker is advised on suspension and diff fasteners to maintain stability under track or bashing conditions.

The MAKM63S can be paired with GPM motor plate MAKM018, which accepts 15T–34T motor gears at 0.5 module and fits motor shafts with a 3.175mm bore. That pairing is useful when upgrading motor gearing while retaining proper mesh with the center differential.
