High-strength centre differential for Mini Kraton 3S

This assembled centre differential is intended as a robust upgrade for ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S owners and serves as a replacement for factory part number ARA-2985. The unit combines 20CrMnTi steel gears with a 7075 aluminium housing, and the internal gear geometry has been enhanced for tighter engagement to cut drivetrain losses and boost transmission efficiency.

The differential is a 38T, module 0.8 design compatible with standard 3.175mm motor shafts. The kit includes a motor plate and a 15T motor pinion (0.8 mod) and will accept motor pinions from 11T to 23T on the same 3.175mm bore. Differential oil is not included and should be added to achieve desired viscous damping.

Installation notes: many parts are pre-assembled where applicable; applying a medium-strength threadlocker on critical fasteners is advised to prevent loosening in use. The motor plate and hardware provided allow replacement of the centre assembly without large chassis modifications.

Tuning guidance: supplied without oil, so set viscous values to match handling goals. Typical reference values include 50K CST front, 30K CST rear, and much higher centre values such as 500K CST or 1000K CST depending on traction and steering needs.
