7075-T6 upgrade hub for MINI KRATON 3S

This aftermarket rear hub is crafted from 7075-T6 aluminum and intended for 1/16 scale ARRMA MINI KRATON 3S models. The aluminium construction replaces the original plastic hub to increase strength under impact and wear, and the hub is supplied with larger rolling elements to suit the new bores. It directly replaces factory item ARA-2677 and includes the updated inner and outer bearings noted below.

The manufacturer-specified bearing changes are an inner bearing size of 7x17x5mm and an enlarged outer bearing of 7x14x5mm, compared with the original inner and outer sizes of 7x14x4mm. These sizes change hub-to-axle fitment and can reduce play while improving longevity during regular off-road operation.

Parts are delivered pre-assembled to allow a straightforward swap of the rear hub assembly, and the kit contains all components needed for replacement. For reliable fastening we advise using medium-strength screw glue on fasteners where threadlocker is normally used to prevent loosening from vibration.
