ARRMA MINI KRATON 3S Battery Retainer Upgrade

This aftermarket retainer replaces the factory battery hold-down (ARA-2665) on 1/16 ARRMA MINI KRATON 3S models and is designed specifically for RC-scale battery retention, not for real vehicle use.

The parts are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium to provide a stiffer mounting point compared with stock plastic retainers, and include an adjustable strap to secure larger capacity packs. The retainer accepts batteries with a case thickness of 30mm and above when used with the supplied strap arrangement, making it suitable for higher-capacity LiPo packs commonly used in 1/16 scale bashing and sprint runs.

Installation targets the front and rear battery hold-down positions and uses the included Grade 12.9 cap head screw for a direct swap with the factory location. In practice, this retainer helps keep the battery immobilised during aggressive acceleration and rough terrain, and it supports small chassis tuning adjustments by allowing repeatable battery placement for weight balance.
